I have set up this page in an attempt to chronicle our time on Deal Island and regale our friends and family with tales of our adventures and likely mishaps.

The only flaw in this plan is I am no Matthew Karsten (he is big in the travel blogging world apparently), with no aptitude for narrative writing. To compound this problem, I will not have reliable enough access to the internet to google "How to write an entertaining blog post", so please bear with me and I'll try my best - Lets hope there is a hard copy thesaurus in the island's library!

Ill be back on here in a few days when we get to Flinders Island.
